Install Notes

IMPORTANT: Professional Installation is recommended!

  • Fitment: All of these reinforcements require welding and may require minor modifications (bending/grinding) to ensure proper fitment.
  • Prep: Rear suspension, rear subframe, exhaust, and driveshaft must be removed when welding in rear chassis reinforcements. It is also strongly recommended that the back seat, rear interior, trunk interior, and fuel tank are removed. Batteries must be unplugged!
  • Welding: A proper understanding of welding etiquette is required. This includes properly grinding to remove undercoating and welding preparation to ensure proper welding penetration is achieved.

E36 Front Subframe Reinforcements

Notes: Some minor modifications may be needed to align reinforcement plate holes with subframe holes. Upper plates may need to be bent to match the curvature of your subframe!

E36 Rear Subframe/Rear Sway Reinforcements

Notes: Check out our installation guide at the link below!

E36 Rear Chassis Reinforcements

Notes: Prepping the surface for welding is the most important step when installing any reinforcements, so TAKE YOUR TIME PREPPING!

E36 M3 Owners: E36 M3s come with rear chassis reinforcements, so unless your M3 has a cracked chassis already these are not needed!

E36 Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcements

Notes: The 6 holes on the reinforcement should be used to secure reinforcement to the chassis, before welding the outer perimeter of the reinforcement.

E36 Rear Strut Tower Reinforcements

Notes: We recommend installing the shock tower reinforcements on top if you are not running a strut bar, and installing on bottom if you are running a strut bar.
