Garagistic is committed to 100% customer satisfaction! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your purchase within 30 days of the delivery date STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ANY USED OR INSTALLED PARTS. Some items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, as well as any order returned after 30 days. We do not accept returns on clearance items. All clearance items are final sale and the buyer is responsible for confirming fitment of any application outside of stock configuration. We do not accept returned customized or made-to-order items such as chassis mount shifters, supreme OEM shifters, driveshafts, wiring harnesses, engine mounting kits, roll bars etc (please contact us if you are unsure if you part falls under this category). All products we carry from other vendors such as NRG Innovations and LINK ECU are ineligible for return. We do not refund shipping costs. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any orders after 30 days. On returns authorized past 30 days from the delivery date, we reserve the right to give store credit instead of a refund (please reach out to confirm). We absolutely do not accept used or damaged items for return. It is your responsibility to make sure that returned items arrive to us in good condition please pack your items accordingly. Why is there a restocking fee?
Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
For this reason we do not accept returns on any used or previously installed products. We will not sell used products to our customers who are expecting brand new Garagistic parts. At times we may have to charge a higher restocking fee on a return if the parts are damaged during the return shipping. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of the parts you are returning to us. Thanks!
GARAGISTIC E46 COMPLETE CHASSIS REINFORCEMENT KIT
Like the E36 that came before it, the E46 had some of the same weaknesses in the structure of the chassis. BMW discovered that over time, due to the bending of the rear of the chassis in conjunction with the movement allowed by the rubber bushings in the rear, the chassis mounting points for the subframe would flex, weaken, and rip out of the chassis. Well, that was just the rear subframe problem only. So we made a kit that solves that and all the other weaknesses found in not only track/drift cars, but streetcars (you can see in our YouTube channel, what cracks can happen under a stock configuration as well).
Included in the E46 chassis reinforcement kit is every possible fix for all the failure points. This includes reinforcements for not only the chassis but the front and rear subframe as well. NOTE ON THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
All of these reinforcements require welding and minor grinding depending on chassis life. In order to weld these plates in, the rear suspension, rear subframe, exhaust, and driveshaft must be removed. It is also strongly recommended that the back seat, rear interior, trunk interior, and fuel tank are removed. Batteries must be unplugged! A proper understanding of welding etiquette is required. This includes properly grinding undercoat and welding preparation to make sure welding penetration is achieved.
